The topic of the fifth Swiss national history competition is:


Location: History in small places

History can be found in small places: in local school houses, factories that were turned into fashionable apartments, our grandfather's barber shop and so on.

HISTORIA would like to motivate young researchers to explore history based on real places. We are looking foreward to numerous competition entries during the next few months! Entry date is: April 15th, 2013.

The topic work ins in it historic dimension especially diverse. Many interesting areas are to be explored and researched - and then to be sent to the HISTORIA history competition. Youth Academy in Scuol

The European Youth Academy of HISTORIA and EUSTORY is over. 18 participants from eleven countries in Scuol (GR) learned a lot about the cultural history of food from the 9/27 to the 10/3 2010. It was an exciting week. Read the full report on this! more

YOUTH SEMINAR 2010: BLOG

HISTORIA and the European history competition network EUSTORY jointly conducted a youth academy in Scuol, involving 17 young historians. In this week they worked and researched a lot about "Food - more than a way to fight hunger?"; and also get familiar with the cultural history of food.
